Re: [FWDLK] Wavey, Wavey Rockers...

Plus, with three antennae on the car, is this car set to receive
broadcasts from outer space? Also, was it even possible to order an all
vinyl interior on these cars? Even the station wagons I've seen have
had only cloth and vinyl combos.

Speaking of color-keyed wheels, you will note on my 57 Dodge (which
graces the back of the 2005 calendar) that its wheels are turquoise to
match the body color. When I bought the car they were white, but I was
advised by an "expert" to have them painted as they are today
(powder-coated yet, at $$$ in cost). Moral: beware of some so-called
experts! For what I paid, they're staying turquoise for awhile, but I
just had my parcel tray redone from white to correct black. Slowly but
surely....

King of the wild resto's (apologies to those of
y'all too young to remember Howdie Doodie, et al).

This car is just about as good (bad) as a FWDLK'er can get, in being
MIS-represented
as being "restored(or NOT)", "original", and/or "mildly-renovated" .
This car is a mess, STARTING with the engine, which is a ("325?") poly,
which was the standard block on a 58  Coro (2-bbl) and Royal (4-bbl);
the CRL had the
350 wedge B block as standard.

Love them wavey rockers, and oversprayed undercarriage, and trunk work,
and aftermarket interior,w/white parcel shelf, & hubcaps.

BTW, are those Cokers?? I LIKE the fact that there is ("now??") a black
inner-border which "separates" the appearance of the white-wall. from
the wheel-edge.
Y'know? @ least they didn't paint the wheels body-color-----& oh yeah,
the body-color is reportedly a Spring-Special shade (photos don't look
'correct', tho) , but if this car was a Spring Special model, the only
S.-S. "items" (which trim-items WERE available a-la-carte/individually
on those models) may be its paint.

IM-N-HO, this car, as-is, is worth about $5k-$7.5K.
