[FWDLK] Shift cable release-

Hi,

Could anyone please give me a refresher course on releasing the shift
cable from the torqueflite?

I know you push a pin in through the hole, but what gear should it be in, and is the diameter of th pin critical (i.e. should
a 1/4-20 bolt work?)
