I have another question about the '57 Belvedere dashboard. What
kind of paint did they use to get the textured dashboard? I'm at that
stage also. Please let me know as they're supposed to do the dash in the

AS I RECALL, They had a finish referred to as
"Pebbled", which was a satin surface with little random bumps in it. They
were "In" the surface rather than "On" it. It looked as if it were sprayed
with paint that had lumps in it. I imagine it could have even
been put on with two coats. Confused enough?
