The problem isn't just convertibles made from hardtops,it is even
worse in the Muscle car world with fake Road Runners,GTXs,Super
Bees,R/Ts,ect.made out of lower model higher production cars.I'd bet there are
more Camaro SS's and Z28's on the road right now than GM ever produced.How many
fake Fury's,D500's,300's and Adventurers are floating around out there?More than
we can guess(We know who builds 'em too,but I won't mention names).It's really
sad,I'm far from a purist as you all know,but a Fury is a Fury,a convertible is
a convertible,if you build a fake one let the next buyer know,this is the worst
thing people can do to this hobby.Just goes to show you how important doing your
homework before buying a car really is.
