Ron's auto electric in Bullville NY(5 corners) used to rebuild mine when I had a generator.Why don't you convert to a GM 1 wire alternator? It makes the most sense in ANY old car that is driven,stock or not.Brackets are available in Woods automotive in Liberty NY,or probably Ron's(he converted my 1st 57 back in the late 80's).
