Re: [FWDLK] FL car spotted in movie

I lived in Eugene when it was filmed, even was an extra, but apparently left on the cutting room floor.

IIRC it was a pretty ratty Plymouth, just something they picked up at a local wrecking yard.

You get a good shot of it right after they cheat on the exam, right before they get a visit from Dean Wormer and decide to have a toga party. Its a '58 Belvedere 4dr sedan, and its so dirty its kind of difficult to tell what color it was. The roof looks like it used to be a lighter color. Maybe the car was black and white?
Next you get to see if while Flounder is wiping off the Lincoln. Its on the right.
Its also on the right in the shot where people are wlaking into the toga party, just after the keg flies out the window.
After "Shout" it takes a hit in the left rear quarter from the Dean's wife.
You get a glimpse of the left fender when the Delta house is being cleaned out after the probation hearing. The suspension is there but the wheel is gone.
Toward the end, the Delta's "float" drives right past it, at which point you can see it has no rear end under it.
Did I miss any?

I've noticed it before.  And ANIMAL HOUSE was filmed only an hour away from where I live, on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene.  I even found the Animal House book at a yard sale, which had a bunch of photos from the movie, but only one photo showed even a little piece of the car.  The did a good job of having it there, yet hiding it.  But I always thought it looked like a light colored car, like goldish, rather than black. . .

Anyone ever notice the partially stripped black '58 Belvedere sedan with sportone trim parked in front of the Delta house in the movie ANIMAL HOUSE ? I'm watching on DVD and have known it was there for the last 20 years but had to pause it and ask if anyone else has noticed it. It's the car that the Dean's wife runs into when she is coming to the toga party to see Tim Matheson. You see it several times through out the movie.
