[FWDLK] Shipping & handling/FWDLK items

I don't claim to be an Ebay wizard, so I happened to learn something,
today, that I'm sure "all" you already know, but , anyway;

one reason why an Epay seller 'demands' an exhorbitant, or excessive
amount of "shipping & handling/packaging" expense is because THAT amount
is NOT subject to the payment/charge for  Ebay "fees".

 Sellers, can, and do, "give-away" some FWDLK items, but they make their
profit on Ebay-fee-free mailing- charges.

That's why, at times (I now realize!) a seller has been reluctant to
'negotiate' his mailing-charges---THOSE are his profit-margin!

YEAH, I know; I always check-out an item's
"mailing-charges", when I'm interested in it; I just didn't realize WHY
those 'costs' were so important, to the seller.
