Got a message from a lady @ oklahomacentennial.com, who said that she
believed that the nicest lodging, "near" to the County Courthouse was @
the "Hotel Ambassador" (1-888-408-8282), which is a 55 room, "boutique"
hotel, located about :"10-11 blocks, from the Courthouse, according to
Bill, in Reservations.

Nice website.

Bill said that they ARE accepting firm reservations, NOW, for $180.49
[out-the-door] per nite, for a 1-king-bed room, & 'slightly-more' for a room with 2
double-queen beds.

They do not have inside parking (but there is a $10.00/day covered
parking facility, next door), but they do have security camaras posted,
in their lot. Apparently, street-crime isn't 'high', in @ the
Ambassador.

The thing is : $180.00/nite MAY BE CHEAP, when all the other
hotels/motels get around to posting their prices, when they 'officially'
accept reservations, for that week.

However, maybe the Ply-Club &/or WPC Club could negotiate reasonable
'block-reservations'.

I, then, re-contacted the Crown Plaza, & learned that they have 462
rooms, and they do have 'under-cover' parking, and nite-time, (anyway),
security.

The C.P. reiterated that they do not know precisely how-much they might
charge, for 6/07
reservations, but for 2006, they're charging a base rate of $99.00/nite,

So, the Imperial Club ought to stay @ the Hotel
Ambassador!!
