Dunno bout y'all, but I've had my fill of 'parades' (4th/JUL, & Xmas)
and, just,  idling along, loading-up the plugs, with my foot on the
brake, for several miles...

I figger that there will be beaucoup time, for showing the colors (&
FINS, literally) around town, that week.

Similar to Woodward AVE, clambake, you can display your ride, in a
parking lot, adjacent to the main drag, on the big-day.

But, for that SAT, the main drag, by the Courthouse will be closed off,
to traffic, so that the best-and-virtually-only way to get to the
viewing grandstands (get there EARLY, like, over-nite??) will be to take
public transport &/or to hike there (based upon my limited experience
with crowds, like @ Indy & Rose Bowl). I HATE, just ,  'sitting' in a
car; cars-trophobia, I guess!!
