Dave Homstad (who will also be @ the B-J, with moi) told me that he has
talked with the guy selling the 56 "D500" @ the b-j, & that the
seller/restorer freely admitted that the car is a "clone", in that the
good-stuff was added-on, during the resto.. dunno IF its even a real
D500, but WILL check it out; but am gonna take my usual 35 mm
photographs, there.
I hadn't heard about this, but a friend told me, today, that there's
"supposed" to be more
50's prototype cars @ auction, this year, 'like' the 53 Oldsmobuick,
last year, that brought 3extra-LARGE.
