Re: [FWDLK] Does Anyone Need Tires?

Jan and all,

Very reluctantly I purchased and installed (5) BF Goodrich 8:20x15 tires and installed them on the correct factory wires that were completely rebuilt for our '55 Imperial Newport when the car was ready for the road.  My reasoning was to keep the correct look as radials on that application just don't look right to myself.

A few years prior I'd also purchased BF Goodrich 900x15 tires for our 1960 300F Chrysler.  Once again this was driven by the "correct look".  The F doesn't drive all that well with them, but I'm happy to say the Imperial drives EXCELLENT with her set.  There is a difference in tread pattern and size and maybe this is why the difference.

Hope this information will be of some assistance,

Hi

I was thinking of putting wide whites on my 1955 Imperial. Not sure I want to start the bias/radial discussion gain but why not? I have radials on the car now and am not really thrilled with ride and handling. Comments?

Hi All,

I?ve gotten a lot of questions about the tire discount.  Here?s a few key points:

-          As a ?group?, we need to order 25 or more tires. We do not need to all order the same type/size/brand ? they can all be different.

-          Shipping of your chosen tires would be direct to you, and you would arrange payment with Coker directly.

-          When we get enough folks together, I will send out another email with the details of who to call at Coker, and how to get in on the ?group deal?.

Just drop me a line if you?re interested and I?ll get it all set up early next week for ordering with Coker.

Thanks!

-Dave
