Re: [FWDLK] 1958 Plymouth Suburban Rear Window

Could do like the one I saw today, but that's pretty messy. The rear of the
car was all torn up from trying to move it with a loader while it was frozen
to the ground.

Who wanted lenses for one of these? I may be able to get at least one.

Are the vertical stainless pieces on the fins the same on all '58's? A
wagon and a hardtop are both Belvederes, I figure next time I am in this
place I will try and nab a pile of stainless trim off the 57-8's, check for
bumper wings, and the like.

On your gate, tried pushing the button with the ignition on? An owners
manual probably explains - the electric ones sometimes used a key switch on
the outside, sounds like yours is missing.

> It there a way to open the rear window to a 1958 Plymouth Suburban? From
the inside of the tailgate it seems to have an electrical pushbutton. On
the outside there is a hole exposing gears. I have been looking all over my
toolbox for a 10mm die but I have had no luck. If I find it would that or
what work?
