I have seen in some cases where just saying HEMI started the $$ escalation!
Now in the case of parts needed, sometimes yes they do seem to cost more in general.
Largly because I think the infrequency of rebuilds keeps the supply low and the asking $$
a tad higher . there are not that many places that usually have these parts available
