[FWDLK] Maintenance Charger for my 1955 Dodge

I decided to buy a maintenance charger for my Dodge to end all the issues with the keeping of that 6 V up to snuff, as this is not a daily driver.  There is a site on the net called Batterystuff that had one for $38 shipped so I went with that.  It is small so I can mount it in the engine compartment and it has a quick disconnect.

My old 55 Coronet is a low mileage 4 door with Red Ram and powerflite and is very respectable.  But, I sure would like to have one of those multi-color coupes.

(((A fellow who lives about 12 miles from me is a nationally recognized expert all things Studebaker.  Last year he had a 1955 President Speedster to redo for a fellow and even had the Bakelite dash to replace the orig with.  The Speedster was tri-color.

This whole era and window of cars that were actually transitioning from prior WW2 to post WW2 and gearing up to modernize for the what we call now Baby Boomers was totally interesting.  Chevy had a great 55-56-57 run but if it had been me, I would have done minor mods to the 55 to call it a 56, even more minor and then hit the market with the 57 mid-56 and made that one a 18 month run.  Oh well, I also wish I had one of those art-deco finned Mopars like the Polaris, but I can just dream. )))
