I hope this is one of those false stories someone created just to get a stir 
out of people...

I don't know the old American cars would make very good car bombs...these 
aren't dinky little yugoslavian cars they'd be trying to explode.  I'd 
expect the result to be more like that VW commercial with the suicide 
bomber.
