Ed,

It depends on what you want done. If you just want it to work and only play
AM, try any good radio repair shop.

If you want it converted to play AM and FM stereo, it will cost more, but be
much more reliable and sound better. Here, there is very little worth
listening to on AM. I had my 56 Dodge Town & Country Radio converted to
AM/FM stereo and it works great. The conversion is invisible from the dial
side and there are jacks on the side to plug in a CD player. Mine was done
by:

He also has replacement speakers that have small but very powerful magnets
that look similar to our OEM (5x7 & 6x9) speakers (without those huge
magnets found on most modern speakers). You will need these or your new
radio (up to 44 watts per channel) will blow your 50 year old speakers
(rated at only a couple of watts).
