Re: [FWDLK] Pitted Pot-Metal

I will be very interested in all the replies to this question. My ol 55 has
plenty of pitted pot metal, and a 4 door Coronet is not a car that I want to
spend thousands and thousands on rechroming. I have left it pitted for now
because after all I do drive it quite a bit. I priced one taillight to be
rechromed and it came to 235.00 cdn. taxes included. I will never win a show
with this car, but you know what, When I drive into a Show and Shine with
the windows down and listen to all the guys saying,(Now This is A Cruiser)or
(Check Out That Dodge) it makes me feel good.
Not that I don't feel envious when I look at all the 55-56-57 chebys with
all the new chrome from Taiwan, but that the parts on my car are 1955 and
she still looks pretty good.
