The spedo is 150 mph in the 300's only.  Everything else is the same.  There were two different dash pads used in 1955.  The early cars had to remove the windshield to get the pad out and the later, carried over through 1956 could be removed by pulling the pad toward the rear of the car once trim pieces were removed.
