Re: [FWDLK] kick panels

Ted,
Go down to your local builder's supply store and ask to see their door skins.
I just picked up a pair of luan door skins at Home Depot yesterday for just that purpose. They are two-ply plywood panels about 1/8s inch thick and measure 3 ft.X 7ft., $5.99 each.

Does anyone have a lead on a company that makes them? Can they be made from a light thin veneer, such as wall paneling? I could use the originals as templates. Is the original type card board available anywhere? I'd like to remake them myself if possible, but would use a supplier if I didn't have to take a second mortgage on my home to pay for them-
