[FWDLK] Synthetic oils

I'm kind of behind on reading the thread covering the synthetic oils, and one question has occurred to me.  Everyone is saying once they converted to synthetic, they change the oil in their modern rides every 10,000 miles.  But how often are you now changing it in your Forwardlookers?  Some of these get less than 1000 miles a year, so if with conventional oil you change it once a year, how often would you now do it with synthetic?
