Didn't know the list had so many fellow cruisers!

 

I had a 48 Merc convertible painted Pompano Peach, a 55 Plymouth color.Paid all of fifty bucks for it. Nosed and decked, and of course lowered in the rear to where every pebble in the road could be felt! Installed a fake leopard skin padded dash.

Went off to college and my dad sent it to the junkyard! Paid them 25 bucks to tow it! Said he got tired of it taking up space in the driveway.

 

And then I discovered hemi engines-but that's another story--Ah, those were the days!!
