[FWDLK] Fw: [FWDLK] Stuck in the 50's or just sightly into the 60's.

I thought you might be interested to know that there are still people putting bullets in their grill, this is a friend of mine's Catalina from Wichita, Kansas.

Yes, it is under bumobile_83 phase 2 I believe, but to save you the trouble,
here is the picture. We used special ordered v shaped drawer pulls from
Home Cheapo. However, we prefer to call them "double bullets". LOL. We
bought the bullets in the tail lights from Night Prowlers. I did send you
the picture of me behind the wheel of Kool Kat at the drag strip didn't I,
they got a pretty good shot of the grill in that picture as well, let me
know if you haven't seen it.

Hi Carrie
I wanted to comment on this message about Cool Cat's grill but I
couldn't find a picture or remember what Roundman used for bullets, didn't
you have a picture up on Webshots of the Cat Grill?

As I recall, those bullets were from a Cad grill insert. Buick had
Squares about '58 or so, think. Both used as backgrounds in the grill.
Whitney also had separate bullets available.

I know (even though I'm only 37) that chrome bullets in the grilles was
a popular NY thing in the late 50's-early 60's,was that trend carried
out in other parts of the US or just here?
