Re: [FWDLK] Cleaning Car Windows-Try this!

Hello All,
Well,
When I detail any of my cars before a show, I have to agree with the professionals, 1 drop Dawn per quart of water in one of those cheap plastic spray bottle. To wipe it all though I use the same GENUINE chamous (sp?, sounds like shammy) that I just used to dry the car. This guarantees a clean 100% streak free window. I do the insides first, then the outside. Now- on my daily drivers I then apply Rainex to the outsides of the windows and mirrors, followed by another (different this time) chamous (shammy).
Works every single time.
Finally,
I agree with Ray on 'Invisible Glove'. I learned that trick as an Airplane Mechanic in the 1980's. My girlfriend at the time would not let me touch her (in any way!) if my hands were the very least bit dirty.
Been using it just about every time since.
If I need too, I follow it with cheap PepBoys hand cleaner. I mean, ya gotta get the grease off your elbows, upper and lower arms and face! And if you don't get grease on your face once in a while, ya aint doing it right!

Take Care guys,
I'd love to make Tulsa this year, but the $$$ are tight. Too tight to take the trip. Have fun, I look forward to the video of the event!

Charles.

In addition, I use "Invisible Glove" BEFORE I start working. Nice hand creme which seals your pores. When you wash your hands after working, the grease just comes right off. If only I could remember to use it more often!

It's getting time for y'all to be polishing up your rides for the Spring Meet!

Here's one more use - for washing your oily hands after you're done working on your baby. It might not get out all the ground-in grease, but it certainly gets off most of it so you can safely touch other things in the house without having your wife go ballistic!
