My 56 Dodge’s original spec is 0.7 ohm @ 80F. It is also the same P/N as all 56 and 57 Mopars.

 

When I went to a hot ignition coil, they recommended a different ballast resistor, so I found one that looks very much like the original at Car Quest.

1957 Plymouth coil resister is a 1.2 ohms or 1.4 correct? (points ignition).
