As far as I know Neil all '57-74 8 3/4 center sections interchange into all 8 3/4 housings. My friend has a '67 Fury housing in his '59 Fury with the '59 center section in it and no problems. I think a 3:91 or 4:10 would be more fun personally but I'm extremely warped. An easier fix for your problem (and you can keep your original rear complete) is to use a complete '65-'68 and maybe even newer C-body rear in your car,it's a bolt in and you only have to move the T-connector for the brake lines. That way you can get all of your brake parts in any parts store and never have to use a drum puller again. The rears look identical unless you have your hubcaps off and then you see that you don't have the nut/keyway set up. Most C-bodies had 2.76 ratios.
