[FWDLK] Fwd: Re: [FWDLK] AVCOM

I intended to send this "forwarded" message to the List; if it's not
attached, I got a LOT of re-typing to do!

Wow; an omnibus article :"based on a large variety of sources"

I wish Mr. Redcap had identified/annotated his references.

Although very engagingly written, just on the Dodge stuff, I have some
research-bones to pick, with his statements about "dealer"-installed
performance options.

Also, & I may have to check with my book, on the Curtis P-47
Thunderbolt, regarding how many V12 engines were actually installed in
those planes.

Again, the article is very well written, but it reads as if it were an
autobiography, or a memoir, regarding its accounting of the
intra-corporate machinations (an excellent term!) on the development of
the Hemi engine.

Assuming that its all true (regarding the engine's development, at any
rate) the inclusion of reference-list would have been VERY nice, and of
additional interest, for other historical research!!
