Re: [FWDLK] THIS IS ONE STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL CAR.....

But, how many (this is a rhetorical question!)
"willing buyers" of anything have ever been bamboozled into buying the
thing, based upon "inaccurate" advertising?

I know that I have, and it ain't a pleasant experirence.

Sarcasm has its purpose and place, but, as long as I can contribute
factual information, about a FWDLK'er, especially one being
"inaccurately" advertised for sale, I shall continue to do so.

Me too !!!  It's always great to see a nice looking Forward Look vehicle.

Does the relatively high price of this car bode well for our other Froward Look cars?

It is sad to see a lot of inaccurate puffery in car sales, but hey, used car sales do have a reputation.  A willing buyer and a willing seller make a sale.

Guess maybe I should've looked at the pictures better. I just thought she was pretty.

The rockers appeared to have been replaced at some point, but not very well.
The panel alignment was not very good overall. There is overspray on the
frame and other places. OTOH, the quarters appeared to be solid and
original.

IMHO, aside from the installation of a good pair of rockers, bringing the
car to a 'nice, although somewhat incorrect restoration' level would not
take a lot. I would even leave the CRL interior. Another thing: there is an
aftermarket manual choke and manual throttle (?) installed. Dunno why.

It'll be interesting to see what the car brings.

Ron
