[FWDLK] Winter 2007 Hot Rod Magazine

Hi all,

 

While I was on the airport waiting for my return flight, I noticed the Winter 2007 Hot Rod Magazine edition.

It’s all about Hemis and among many other appealing photos it features a 2 page photo with the following caption:

 

D-500 Dyno Test

This great shot is of Bob Osieki’s garage that was a couple miles south of Daytona Beach, Florida. The engine being tested is for a ’56 Dodge D-500 that was eventually driven on the sand to 130.577 mph by Dodge engineer Danny Eames.

 

It’s a Super D-500 (2x4 intake).
