..TODAY is the 74th  anniversary of the REPEAL of Prohibition !

The newspaper (double-full-page!) ad I'm looking at, from Dewars, states
that, in an apparent 1933 article : "To honor the 21st Amendment
(repealing Prohibition in most states), many begin their celebrations at
21:00 hours, or 9PM."

21st Amendment= 21:00 hours .

Repeal Day party hosts insist that their guests' first drink be a
nonalcoholic beverage so that everyone might remember the dry days of
Prohibition.

Three hours later, at midnite(!), it made sense to take a moment to
pause and reflect as a group".

I've got about 10 minutes to go, before 9:00 !
