Mel: I got my windshield gasket for my 56 Plymouth from Steele Rubber. It should also fit the 56 Dodge. One problem I found is that it a bit fatter that the old gasket and the inside garnish does not fit well. I had to drill some new holes to get everything aligned. As for pot metal, I have used Paul's Chrome Plating outside of Harrisburg for all my work and am pleased. I have a fender rear view mirror support there now.
