     I had my 11 inch drums sand blasted and power coated. During each of these processes, the contact surface was protected with masking tape etc.  One problem with this is that there is a bit of adhesive residue left that cause the brakes to grab for a while until it is burned off.  I tried several solvents without total success for removing the adhesive.  All is well now.
