[FWDLK] Chrysler today

About a year ago my wife and I had an occasion to be in the Detroit area. We contacted her cousin who works for Chrysler and had a very enjoyable day with him. He works at the big glass building in Auburn Hills which we toured along with a personal tour of the museum. After that we went to dinner and as we pulled into the parking lot I asked him "what to you see special about all these cars"? He admitted he didn't see anything special about them. I said it's a total lack of color, plain and simple they all blend into each other. Where are the great colors Chrysler had 40 years ago, what happened to the great designs, the cutting edge in styling? As we ate I told him "go across the street to the museum" where we just came from and look what you guys built 40+ years ago. You caused GM and Ford to scrap their designs when they saw The Forwardlook.
He keeps in touch regularly and I send him photos of "fins, chrome and color" including my recently purchased 56 Dodge tri-tone Coronet Lancer 4 dr hardtop.
