Re: [FWDLK] Where is everyone?

Maybe after Washington gets through "Redistributing" our wealth, buying new cars may not be an option for any of us (even those who ostensibly already pay the taxes that provide the grease for the operation of government.)  Anyway, the operation of government seemed more tasteful in the 50's, as well as much more stylish with Chrysler and Imperial fins driving the Senators and Congressmen to vote at the Capitol.

Thank you, Larry.
I was wondering how I could drive more than one at a time.
I guess I can't... even if I had a lot of cash.

Maybe they could give it only to citizen taxpayers.
That would limit it a lot.

The best way to redistribute the wealth would be to fly over and drop it out of airplanes.
Anyone could have a chance to collect.

Maybe then I could buy a nice big finned car.

We would not see a couple million more cars on the road unless we have a couple million drivers.  Real numbers would not go up, but the average age of the cars in the road would change greatly.  Of course, we FL Mopar fans would continue to provide the baseline for quality, style, and fins.  :)

Sounds simple to just give $50k to everyone to buy a new car, but imagine what it would be like with a couple million more cars on the road.  Our highways would then truely be massive parking lots.
