Re: [FWDLK] 1958 Side Molding Inserts

Well he can’t have won too much in the lottery. Either that or he just likes to keep himself busy selling repro parts, because he is still listing parts every week on Ebay…

Here is the link:

http://motors.shop.ebay.com/merchant/makurdsik123

He has 9 items on there right now…

I don't know the guy or have ever knowingly met him, There was an ebay listing for a set about a week or two ago by him, obviously he had at least one more set.

Hello Dave,

My name is Dave Grow and my sons name is Dave Grow II. We went to the Mopar show at Carlisle in July this year. We drove my sons 1958 Plymouth from Cincinnati. It was a fantastic trip, only we had a little problem. I wrote a check for $350 for the side molding inserts to Wayne Mackurdsik. The check was cashed the next week and we have not heard from him since. It was pretty cheap since we cannot find these inserts anywhere but we still need to find the trim. Have you heard of this guy? He’s tall (about 6 foot 2) dark hair and seems like a very nice guy. My son said that Wayne used to make a lot of different parts for these cars but he won the lottery and quit making them. It all sounds fishy to me because he came to Carlisle selling parts and taking orders. I met another man there who ordered the same thing. His first name was Bill and he was from California. Wayne said that he lived close to Pittsburgh, that’s why I am sending this message to you. Please let me know if you have any information about Wayne and the Inserts that my son still needs. My e-mail address is listed below. My cell phone number is (513) 504-2357.

Thank you very much
