Re: [FWDLK] Radiator part number help

Hi Ron,

No definitely 1686501 and it does not run the trans cooler lines through it. Manual trans or air-cooled auto. Date code F7 (Jun ’57).

The weird thing about it is, compared to my other ’57 Chrysler radiators, it has wider mounting brackets on it, which pushes the radiator core closer to the motor.

Thanks

Owen

Hey Owen -

Could you be misreading the part number ? 1686201 is for 57-8 Plymouth.

Hi all,

Can anyone help with radiator # 1686 501 as to what model or models it is listed for. I can not find it in my passenger car listing, maybe it is light commercial? I can tell you it does bolt right up to a ’57 Chrysler passenger car though.

Thanks for any help.

Regards

Owen
