I just heard back from Corporate Historical Society Researcher, Darrell Davis, in response to my
having forwarded this message to him, today.  He says :

"Not true. I heard from Brandt Rosenbusch about this today. The Engineering Library is a place that I never went to [regarding Darrell's Historical Society research on our cars] for information . It is in the Corporate Archives, and it is safe and well."
