Re: [FWDLK] Powder Coating Removal

Hi Ron,
Couple of options- Sandblast it- though it will take some time (tough stuff
that powdercoating)
Strip it with oven cleaner (never tried this, but am told it will work)
Or- just scuff it and paint over it with the desired color.
You may also want to talk to a local powdercoater- they may know the proper
way to do this.

Your choice,
Charles.

Subject: [FWDLK] Powder Coating Removal

Hi All -

Someone gave me a clean master cylinder housing that had been powder coated
a glossy brown color. I want to remove the powder coating. Does anyone know
the recommended procedure for doing this ?

Thanks,

Ron
