Right, the '56 Fury 303 and the '56 Belvedere 277 are the Plymouth A block, totally different than the 260-270 block.

 

The 270 Dodge poly was used on '55-'56 Coronets and '56 Plymouth Savoys and Plazas with two barrel carb.

 

My friend bought the '55 Plymouth 260 poly "Power Pak" 4-barrel intake for his '55 Dodge 270 hemi, so we'll see if it does indeed fit or not.  Seems like 4 barrel intakes for that vintage are darn near impossible to find.

     The 55-56 Dodge Hemi heads will fit only the 55-56 Dodge and Plymouth V8's according to my parts book.  Part number is 1615886.  Incidentally, 1615886 will not fit the 56 Fury according to the same book.  The 56 Fury head part number is 1731609.
