cant speak for letter cars- but every dodge, plymouth, and desoto.. windsors and NY'ers from 57-59 had rubber trunk mats... desoto's say desoto embossed, dodges have the crest molded in, and plymouths have the dots in a pattern down the center- to match the pedals and rug heel pad

just noticed form having just about every model of them..

I see lots of restored FL Mopars with carpeted trunks, including Chrysler 300s. Did any of our cars ever come from the factory with trunk carpet, or is this just an attempt at over-restoration ?
