Re: [FWDLK] Removing Undercoating

Ron:

The only thing that comes to mind for removing undercoating is mineral spirits.  It is reasonably safe, but will require a lot of work.

Hey Gang -

My 59 Dodge's inner fenders have factory undercoating that I'd like to
remove. Using a torch is definitely out. Sandblasting may remove some, but
I'd like to chemically remove all of it. Does anyone have a method that will
disolve or at least soften the undercoating to the point that it'll come off
easily with a putty knife ?

Thanks,

Ron
