Hi Gang -

I have a gift card from Radio Shack that I want to use to purchase a
Multi-meter. I'm looking for a nice basic one that I can use for my vintage
car projects. Can anyone recommend one ? I'd prefer digital over analog.
Also, are the Radio Shack ones any good, or should I look elsewhere, like
Sears/Craftsman ?

almost any digital multimeter will be just fine for our older cars electrical needs, EXCEPT watch out when you are trying to read AMPS, make sure you have the leads and meter dial setting in place before applying the load :-)

but then thats the same advice i would give if it were an analog meter, dont want a case if instant smoke :-)
