When I park one of my 300 letter cars at a show, I always disconnect the negative cable off the battery. My theory is that without any electrical, one can't have an electrical fire.  So that would mean that my clock would NOT be working!   Fern with 300H conv and 300L

Now let's not get carried away with the idea that clocks are not so important.  Several years ago, there was a car show at Sacramento where 2 cars were tied for the trophy.  The judges felt that they were identical as far as judging was concerned.  What to do!!!  Someone hit upon the idea to see if the radio, or was it the clock, worked.  Upon inspection, one car had whichever it was working and received the trophy.  So perhaps in the future, because your clock is running and the one in your fellow enthusiast's is not, you get the trophy.
