Re: [FWDLK] spamming eBay?

Same issue for any type search, like I do "1978 Magnum" gets lots of unrelated stuff.

Type in 1955 Plymouth, -fits and see what comes up.

Subject: [FWDLK] spamming eBay?

I am an avid eBay browser always looking for a replacement part to keep my '55 Ply 6 cyl Belv running. Today, I saw nearly 133 pages on plymouth stuff which got me excited and thinking that surely new stuff was there to look at. To my amazement, it was page after page of seat covers, wheel covers and every single post was identical! I was upset/angry that I signed off when I hit page 90 or so.
I don't know if some of you out there have experienced the same thing. The ony thing I can think off is that this insididous practice is a deservice to eBay sellers and buyers alike, because when I see spammed pages I tend to scroll fast knowing that I usually miss out on items worth looking at.

I can understand duplicating one or two posted items, but pages after pages of the same stuff?
I wonder why eBay allows such spaming to take place. I don't see any purpose other than frustrating the buyer. By the way, there were at least 16 to 20 pages of unspammed items out of 133.

Sorry for the ranting
