It sounds like it was unsustainable as a separate, non-profit corporation, so Chrysler/Fiat is purchasing it back and only opening it for special events. The alternative would have been ugly, as the assets would likely have been sold off (including the car collection). So ultimately, it is good news IMHO.
 
Will this, in any way, affect Chrysler Historical ?

It is good news. At least better than the alternative that happens when = an organization runs out of money which would be closing the doors period.

 

The question is how many special exhibits will there be in the average year? I agree that it isn’t a perfect world we live in but then when has that ever been the case?
