    I had the tank on my 56 Fury refurbished by Tank Renu and they did an excellent job.  I would highly recommend them, especially when no one is reproducing tanks for the 1950's MoPars.  They will clean, repair and line the tank followed with a nice paint job.  You can also paint the tank when they finish if you do not like the why they did it.

My '55 Belvedere sedan needs to have its fuel tank un-dented and de-leaked - or maybe replaced.  My quick searches on the web haven't revealed any sources.

 

Its original p/n is 1557468 - per the parts manual - and is shared with '55/'56 Dodge.  It's a 17-gallon unit, and the parts manual lists also a 20-gallon unit via p/n 1632823.

 

Got any tips/guidance?
