Re: [FWDLK] 1956 Dodge Clock

Call Instrument Services    815 623 2993    Ask if their conversion motor for Borg works with the 1956.  I have converted 5 Borg clocks from slightly newer Mopars and they  do not change the appearance at all.  Costs about $90 and you get to repaint the tired hands at the same time

I just purchased a clock for my 56 Dodge.  It was listed as a 1955 Dodge clock, 6V.  I think this is in error.  The clock face is the blue/green color of the 1956 Dodges.  1955 clocks had a black face.

My dilemma is:  will this clock work on 12 Volt power?  I checked for part number/serial number but Borg did not put any numbers on the clock. There is only the company info stamped on the clock.  There is a code painted on the clock: SKK.

Can anyone decode this code and determine if the clock will work on 12 Volt power?  I would prefer to know before applying power and letting the magic smoke out.

Thanks
