If you purchased one of the two “1955 Dodge Clocks” that were on ebay last week (one with a black face and one with a greenish face), be careful because I think the one with the blue/green face was a 55’ clock. I was interested too, but the “time adjustment” was in the center of both of those clocks which according to my research makes them “55’s. The 56 clock, aside from the green face, has the “time adjustment” at “6-O’clock” or the bottom of the clock case as opposed to the center. Here are some pictures of the 55 vs 56 Dodge clocks.

My dilemma is: will this clock work on 12 Volt power? I checked for part number/serial number but Borg did not put any numbers on the clock. There is only the company info stamped on the clock. There is a code painted on the clock: SKK.

Can anyone decode this code and determine if the clock will work on 12 Volt power? I would prefer to know before applying power and letting the magic smoke out.
