Re: [FWDLK] D500 and d500-1 ???

I've been outatown....

When Dodge put together the 345 D501 Hemi (using the 1957 Windsor 354
[-Poly] block, with 300B Hemi heads), Dodge installed its 354 Hemi
Heavy-Duty truck's (V900 series) plain, non-embossed/stamped valve
covers onto it..

No "FirePower" Dodge engines, ever.

The 354 Truck also provided its 4-bolt exhaust manifolds to the D501 engines.

Seeing that ebay car, I figure it might have the Dodge 325,
when dodge used the Chrysler motors, did that also use the
Chrysler valvecovers??

I seem to recall seeing Desoto marked sparkplug covers,
Chrysler stamped valve covers, and Dodge covers were plain
or red ram?
