Re: [Chrysler300] 300H Turn Signals

I have a 1961 300G which has a bulkhead connector at the firewall. Thus, the underhood harness and the interior harness are separate and mate together at the firewall with mating connectors.

I also have a 1962 Chrysler wire harness and it does not have a bulkhead connector at the firewall. All of the wires feed through the firewall without any connector. That is, the underhood and interior harness is one continuous piece. I am assuming that this is what Doug has so he needs to focus on the other problem areas.

  With best regards,

  Jim

  Doug,

I had a similiar problem with the turn signals.
Make sure the wires that plug into the firewall bulkhead connector are
clean.
It may be necessary to take each one off, one by one, and clean with a small
wire brush.
Make sure the sockets for the front and back lights are clean too.

Also, the sockets that the bulb fits into may need a cleaning or may be
loose in the panel.

One last thing, there may be a problem with the turn signal switch.
All wires go through the switch.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300H Turn Signals

Hi Group, I need some help on a turn signal problem on my new H. The
right side front and back turn signals work but flash at about twice the
normal frequency. The left side front and back turn signal lights come
on but do not flash. In the instrument panel, the right indicator arrow
does not light up when the signals are flashing and the left indicator
arrow is a solid green when it should be flashing. I have replaced 2
defective bulbs. Help! Doug Warrener
