Reminds me of the parable of the man who jumps of the Empire State Building and as he is accelerating past the 40th floor on his way down, a man shouts out the window, "how are you doing?" and the jumpee responds, "so far so good".

Seriously however, Coker claims that they have redesigned many of their tires and have re-engineered their factories that build them.  More recent build tires could be of top quality.
